June 12 Job Fair, Legaspi City

It is so sad to note that apparently, there are a lot of jobless people in the Albay and Sorsogon area. We participated in the DOLE-sponsored Independence Day Job Fair and was surprised at the long line of jobseekers outside the Albay Astrodome.

We travelled all the way from Naga City and arrived at the venue expecting a huge turnout. We didn't expect it to be this huge! According to the secretariat, at least 7,000 people registered that day!!! whew!

More employment opportunities for the Bicolanos, please!

Are you comfortable?

Van ride from Naga City to Iriga City.

I suppose that one is not supposed to be comfortable during the trip. This defies one of the laws of physics: "No 2 objects can occupy the same space at the same time."

The van drivers and operators must prefer contortionists for their passengers! If 5 people can occupy a seat that usually seats 1, they will be most delighted.
